Powered Trailers
RedDisco:
I've been offered a powered trailer, it has a land rover axle and is powered from PTO, a previous owner has removed the body so it only has a flat bed (10'x5')and does need some restoration. How much would be a sensible price to pay? I've been trying to research but can't find any info anywhere.
I think the manufacturer was a company called Bushwaka??
Thanks
Bush Tucker Man:
It's not home-made is it, by any chance?, I've never heard of one that big.
Not too sure if 'Bushwacka' were anything to do with it. The only company of that name I know make press-tools
Scottorn
Camel-Laird (or a branch of this company)
GKN-Sankey?
I think I've got a 'flyer' (single A4 sheet) for them in the 'snug'
First really triialled inthe late 1960's as a companion to the 101FC whne under development
RedDisco:
The owner said it originally belonged to a utility company and was fitted with a body with cupboards/drawers inside but he has removed the body!!

I seem to remember reading that they had some problems with the trailer tipping over the towing vehicle on tight bends.
Cheers
