just make sure it is a newish one that doesnt have the 2.25 N/A, otherwise you will be well miffed  :wink:

My lads will do around 65 with the wind behind it downhill!!!

Best thing to do with the 2.25 diesel is to replace with petrol 2.25 if you don't want to much hassle from the insurance.

Reliability is far better on the petrol.

Then you can do no end to it.

Fitting a turbo would result in regular repair bills, these engines won't take it for long.

I love my diesel!  :D The only problem is when you either have the butterfly altered so you have a break servo assistance then have lots of black smoke or have it adjusted so you have more torque and no smoke. I took mine down to a local diesel testing station and they did a cracking job saved me what i thought would be a new pump. just the timing slightly out!
