Scorpion Winch Bumper fitting

Thanks for the offer of instructions Colin, but ... it's on :D

Apart from ...

I already had a DiscoParts steering guard on. I had to 80% remove it to get the bumper on and wiggle it about a lot to get it back on again. The only problem is, I can't fit the rear clamps on :roll:

If you look at this picture you can see that the side panel of the steering guard is very close to the chassis rail. The problem is, one of these needs to fit between, as can be seen in Jake's picture.

So, I either need to modify the Scorpion brackets, or the DiscoParts side panel - both of which are a bit beyond my trusty hacksaw. Any suggestions or offers of help? [-o<

is it the steering guard thats too close to the chassis? maybe you could drill a hole where the plate needs to be then hacksaw down either side so you have a "U" shaped cutout to allow the bracket to be fitted
