I've had the speedo on a 90 tdi register higher than that. Don't know if it was accurate but the steering wheel took some holding to keep in a straight line   :)

I think what he is saying is to be totaly legal you must find out what LANDROVER themself rated your 90 to go at and as long as the tyres are over that limit then they are ok. :D

I think its not a fact of what you can get out of your motor its what they say it will do OFFICIALLY....God I can't spell.

But like me if you have a series that will do 85mph ( NEVER AGAIN ) then it be a good Idea to have tyres that will do 85mph at least just so you dont have a suprise when you are being silly well VERY SILLY.....

Has anybody tryed to keep a series landy in a straight line at that speed. Trust me you do not need the experience.. But funny enough yesterday it would not do 40mph.....FUEL FILTER....
