Another New Disco in the Club

If you're thinking about a lift kit have a look at Paddocks. We've just bought one from them, Britpart springs, pro-comp shocks, disslocation cones, spring retainers, extended break hoses and extended poly bump stops, all for 350 beer tokens.
Budgie:
With CB, what sort of distance do you think you'll be communicating over?
If you only want the rig for talking between vehicles on greenlanes & play sites then you could save drilling a hole in the roof and fit the aerial in the spare wheel carrier.
Have a look at this thread and this one for some ideas.
This type of mount will protect the aerial from trees that try to rip it off but allow enough transmitter distance of a couple of miles. If you want to broadcast to the whole county then your best with it on the roof or gutter mount.
I moved mine cos I got through so many aerials that had the bottom coils broken by trees that I went for the wheel carrier mounting and it works fine. :D

Looks like it will be 235/70/R16 the tyre calc syas its okay
The CB mount is going in a exsiting hole in the roof But will see how long that will last.
Now to source a Safari Snorkel Cheapest I can find is £169 from paddocks
Cheers
Darren
jimbob:
You shouldnt need a lift kit to get 235/70 16's on.
Was the paddock's snorkel + vat. MM4x4 have them for £160, but i think that's plus vat.
