I am under the 90 to let out 750ml of oil so I can slick 50 it.

I have my 1 Lt jug and spanner handy

I undo the plug and


Drop the damn thing

Jug is under and quickly fills up ...no sign of drain plug

I put my finger in hole to stop the flow ...still no sign of drain plug.

So there I am, stuck under landy with finger in the drain hole. Karen is out shopping and still no sign of drain plug.

I went through all sorts of contortions over the next couple of minutes trying to find that damn plug.

Found it eventualy ...in the bottom of the damn jug!

All in all I only lost about 250ml of oil over me and the drive.

I think that the little dutch boy who stuck his finger in the dyke had the right idea  :D

ive done that on a ramp into the big oil drainer & it has ribbs to catch the drain plu etc But when the oil landed it hit one of the ribs just braw to spray a whole 3 litres of ATF over me & the underside of the motor & the floor,not mutch landed in the drainer    :evil:

Times like this you think, wonder if I could fit drain taps on the flamin' thing? :wink:  :lol:
