Track Day

Bush Tucker Man:
(well a 'Track Few-Hours')

I suppose I ought to be happy that my dear wife thinks enough of me to book me a track-session for my forthcoming 40th.

However, I'd told her quite firmly that I was't interested in the slightest in any kind of celebration whatsoever.

Her going away on holiday was reward enough for me :D

So, what does she do?, she calls me from work to tell me she's ordered a 'TVR Experience'

I'd suggested a couple of things hoping it'd put her off due to the price, ie;
Firing up/driving & 'putting away' a Traction Engine, which was over £300  ,  & almost 3hours travel.
Also the 2 local steam preservation railways don't offer 'footplate experiences'
They are Keighley & Worth Valley (site of original 'Railway Children' film), & North Yorkshire Moors.

So I've got to endure a trip to Leicestershire (again) at some point

Colin 009:
God, its a hard life eh.

Colin 009:
A 'TVR Experience" isn't that just drinking lots of Vodka now days.

Jake:
Which track is it on?
 :D

drum:
North Yorkshire Moors do do a Foot Plate Session, we sent my Dad on it for his birthday a few years back. If you want I'll get you the details ready for your 41st??
