When you done that one with the bearing prob, I got one here for you to practice on

Its a common problem with them, you can run with it, it may last for ages, just dont hammer it

Best drop the oil and chack for ball bearings and other bits not made from oil in the drain, this will give you an indication if its in the early stages or later of breaking up

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

Rebuilt my gearbox a couple of years ago, asked AMD for advice, recomended following the Haynes book of Bull.

Did this and all ok, when i say follow Haynes i mean it, saves a lot of hassle.

If you have the Landrover workshop manual, cross refference the two, although they are nearly identical.

It is a good weekend of Fun,

1. remove spring clip - How!!!!!

This bit may take anything up to 2 hours before you get P*ssed off.

Only difficult part though, other than refitting the spring clip.

Go read haynes to find this.

and then people ask why it's commonly reffered to as the HBOL (Haynes Book Of Lies)

Check the section on replacing chassis bushes, that always makes me giggle..
