Bush Tucker Man:
Re November 'LRE'

This edition of the magazine came through the letter-box this morning.
Upon opening it, lo & behold was an article on the very vehicle I went to look at High-Peak 4x4 in Chapel-en-le-Frith a while ago.

The buyer has certainly got a cracking motor there, it's superb

Oh, sorry. It's the Defender 110 Heritage

There's also a feature on someone who's produced a HUMVEE 'lookalike' kit for a Range Rover

SMason0877:
Why on earth would you want a humvee lookalike kit for the rangie??  :(bigshock):

Funnily enough... I saw that and thought of you!  :D

Jim-Willy:
I was looking through my old JeepWorld Magazines before throwing them away a month or so ago and there was an article about a american kit to change the front end of a YJ Wrangler to looklike Hummer.  Ugly didn't cover it.

Yes, it was absolutely the biz, but it was not to be.

(it was circa £17, 500)

Edit @ 10:30, Friday 7th
Sorry, checked a back-issue & it was on offer at £17,995

I'd just have to junk those awful side-runners & grill if I got one, & reinstall 'proper' folding side-steps & a 'Stage One V8' grille
