Similar situation with me in mid 2003. I came across a 24tonner (?), well a 6x4 tanker, that was in a bad place.
So I offered to try & move it for the driver.
I managed & had just got it to a safe place, when Wakefields finest came along.

"Could have done with you 10minutes ago to hold the traffic"

"Can you move your vehicle now sir, you're blocking the road"
"Well thanks a lot Officer" :twisted:  :twisted:

1 funny thing that did happen tho is the recverery truck driver who was adam crouch the owners son  asked if i wanted a job  lolol  nice of him to ask
