My 4x4 Update

(1/2) > >>

Brian the Sn@il:
Ok guys after everones input regarding 4x4s

I have booked a weekend drive in a NEW Navara.

Being a commercial vehicle i can claim 40% of the cost of this vehicle back int he 1st year !!!
So being a person who pays 40% TAX anyway, thats a massive lump off my next years TAX bill :) ( probably the 1st years depresiasion)

So the Navara is going to be test driven.
I collect ont eh 15 October, and i will take soem Pics and provide a write up for everyone.

If anyone wants me to try anything with it let me know.

Funny thing is the Volkswagon Dealer asked if i wanted to take out teh NEW 4 motion (4WD) tranporter , as it hasnt been offroading yet ( he said that)
I said, i dont think it will be up to what i have in mind ;) LOL !

anyway, things are moving, but at 24K for the Navara, i still cant find another commercial vehicle thats as good for the POWER and Performance ?

Wanderer:
We met a guy at Aston Cantlow once in a VW transporter which was 4x4 and lifted. He coped quite well throughout the day.

Jim-Willy:
From what i've read it supposed to be good on the road but its far too long and low to be any good offroad but then thats a problem with pickups.
