OK, here are some pics of the hoses coming from the turbo, basically a cut down 45 degrre bend, then sleeved with a short metal tube to another angle, then piped and hosed to the intercooler.

The hose from the air filter to the turbo is basically a Discovery hose, joined with a Defender flexi hose, lots of cursing, sweating and swearing as you try and bend it under the PAS pump/alternator brackets!!

........and a couple more

Timberdog, the exhaust front section (downpipe to silencer) is all you should need to remove. I re-used some of the exhaust that I cut off to make a join in the top intercooler hose.

I have the Cionverstion Kit form S.Parkers so all i need to do is cut Exaust pipe to go into Converstion down pipe ..but you have just given me an idea for top intercooler pipe use the Old 2.5 TD Down pipe for it as no need with converstion downpipe..

Thank you for the photos they help great...were did you get flexy hose from Turbo (gatered one).

Ps i have now taken the slack out of the PSP Pump belt in the order of doing things but the Alternator belt seesm to be too slack still or the belt is the wrong part number i was given a Dayco make part number printed on belt is : 3AO725C THEN 6800 THEN 4 101030 Is this the right number?

stefan:
The flexi hose was the old one from the 2.5 petrol engine which comes from the top of the air filter then joins a Discovery air filter to turbo solid hose.

Not sure on the belt number as I have thrown away all the packing, sorry!
