Lift+Tyres

LandRoger:
Just bought an old 90 county e reg,  whats the usual lift +wheel set up  for laning  dont need anything extreme , been told that 2inch lift+235/70 tyres  works best  ,  any thoughts  or advice?

Jim-Willy:
You don't need a lift for laning, 235/85's look good on a 90, mines got them and no lift.  If you have standard 90 rims you can't really go any wider than a 750/16 which also look good, 235's fit but are a little wide for the rim IMHO.

LandRoger:
Mine has the RR rostyle wheels  that look  nice and strong , will they take 235s or 750s ? looking through some older threads  i maybe better off  forgeting the lift and associated probs  castor - prop mods etc, and look at lockers and good MTs  instead ,

Jim-Willy:
Mine has rostyles and 235/85 and they look the dogs, fit lovely.  I have never run out of articulation just grip so i was thinking of a trick diff instead of a lift but havn't decided yet.

Xtremeteam:
run 750's &  ocasianaly 235's on both my 90s (road & racer) & i agree that they look the biz although i do have a small  lift on the road 90 just for show  8) im currently running 750 sat's on my road motor & did have 750 michelin XZL's on rostyles obn the racer for some comps where needed more clearance than speed
