disco spares

the price for spares seems to vary a lot
last week i needed a stub axle for  my 300 tdi and the prices
were between £30 and £85 plus the dreded vat
has anyone got suggestions for buying parts or is it just look around
i got my new stub axle ,2 wheel bearings and seals for £50
delivered from ebay company called  island 4x4 and they were very helpful
and next day del on time
