The Fabulous '50ths'
karloss:
Guilty as charged! Picking up some rubbish from a friends house to go to the tip. I live just round the corner on the main road.
Next time, stop and say hello.

Or stop me and say hello as the case may be.
You must have some sort of memory.
Bush Tucker Man:
If it was actually you & we're not at 'cross purposes' you were tipping the bark on next doors drive to where we were visiting.
Probably be someone else now (driver had 2 late teenaged lads with him)
Bush Tucker Man:
Any way back to the thread topic.
I saw another 50th earlier this evening.
We'd gone to the 'Rythre Arms' at Ryther (that's the correct spelling of pub) which is sort of between Tadcaster & Cawood for dinner.
I challenge SWMBO (who loves Steak) to eat their Big One, which is a 78ounce(! !) T-Bone.
She wouldn't.

Any way we came out at about 21:25 (went in at 20:00) & there was a 50th Disco in the car-park it wasn't there when we entered. It looked like the owner attended the same valeting course as me :D (it's Yorkshire, so it rains)
It was registered as 'S860 DWU'

That indeed is someone else! There are two 90's in the village that colour and mine is the other one. They are even similar reg no's. His is a bit more "pretty" than mine. Bits of chrome and such like. You can tell mine a mile off. Dirty, 2" lift, dirty, home made snorkel, dirty, high lift jack above the back door, dirty, 9" spotlights, dirty. It's a difficult thing to miss! 8)
