beast5680:

Bush Tucker Man:
'White Gold' was the other colour offered, but not very well taken up at all.
It wasn't available on the Defender 90-V8, or Range Rover - it was possibly available on the FreeLander?
Bush Tucker Man:
Spotted yet another 50th FreeLander this morning at Newark Car Auctions.
Bush Tucker Man:
I went to the Leeds & District Traction Engine Club at the 'National Coal Mining Museum' (at Wakefield) this morning.
On my way home I saw a Ferguson TE20 for sale at the side of the road. So I turned around to have a look.
As I was reversing into a field entrance to park up by it, I saw a 50th Discovery in my mirrors.
So having looked at the TE20 (£500 ono) I started talking to the chap with the Discovery.
He's had it about 5 years & apart from the rear wheelarches starting to corrode badly he's happy with it.
Like me he feels that the fancy paint is too soft & scratches easily (must be the blue colouration in it
To top it all, just as I was coming into Westgate to re-enter the city-centre, there was a 50th Freelander parked!
