The Fabulous '50ths'

<< < (23/70) > >>

Bush Tucker Man:
Saw another one today whilst on the way home from looking at a 'Winter Project' for father-in-law & myself.
We were heading back towards Wakefield down the A642 between Wakefield & Huddersfield quite close to the National Mining Museum.

It was registered as 'S993 DWB', if the number I wrote down was correct.

Also; I'm going to try & do a 50th Anniversary page on my 'WebShots'. With that in mind, if you've contributed on here to this thread (eg; 'Sogster')  Can you please let me have your permission (or not) to use your photos.

Bush Tucker Man:
Photo'd another Discovery this morning.
It's one I've known of since before I bought mine, I'd spoken to the guy in early 2003 & found out he bought his new.
It's quite close to where we used to live, as is 'VDO 17' on the same web-page.

At the time I told him that it was on the wrong wheels. It turned out that he swapped the original alloys for a set of 'FreeStyles' in the sparkle finish. He preferred them to the slightly duller 5oth standards.
But on getting them fitted regretted it immediately.

I also saw another 50th FreeLander yesterday on a local estate built on the old golf-course. I don't recognise it as one I've seen before

Bush Tucker Man:
Found one for sale, if anyone fancies one after the positive praise in this months 'LRO' :D
'50th' for sale

Andy.:
Me too, with some nice photo's inside and out  :D

50th Discovery

Bush Tucker Man:
Can't be a real one, it looks bl..., blu....., bluu...

Well, lets just say, it's not green :D

Looks good though, not sure about no proper gear-lever though
