I wouldn't have considered that from the photo, it looks too round, by which I mean it looks like you would slip off.

I suspect in 'real-'life' the wheels are huge and so are these steps so although they are curved you can get a good grip.

In this months LRO they are showing a restored Forward Control Ambulance - I think it is the prototype one - it is (now) in superb nick, it looks great and has absolutely loads of space for kit in the back.......

Maybe I should add one of these to my wish list?

I had a nice ambulance 101 back in the early 80s, drove it for a year and a half all over Uk and Germany, but they wouldn't let me keep it when I left the army :cry:

Its got a pattern cut into it to stop you slipping.
