failed mot on smoke test

woody:
allways a good idea to service your vehicle before an MOT
if its only used localy a good blast down the motorway is helpfull
and get the engine hot before the MOT
take notice wether they MOT then gas test or gas test then do the rest of the MOT the engine could have cooled down
:?: is it poss to alter the fuel mixture on the pump (not done any work on Land Rover pumps ) just for the test :?:

J B:
mm cheers for response lads

i backed the pump off b4 the test

ive just serviced it and and it had a run down to poole and back the night b4 at 70mph on the motorway

i'n hopeing the new injestors will sort it, i did change the cam belt not too long ago aswell, wonder if its a bit out, though it runs fine???

J B:
got it top pass today,

after i cleaned up the injestor nozles, gently on the wire wheel

then filled a new fuel filter with injector cleaner

then backed off the pump instead of upping the fueling it sailed through

denviks:
