Today 4 pence dropped off fuel, who feels stupid?

I was a bit surprised to see our local main petrol stations as normal on Tuesday evening. Went into Norwich and Tescos was heaving. Even had people out directing the traffic!!

The funny one was the queue of 4 cars at the one pump in the village station........ total gridlock   Can't remember seeing more than one at a time before!

Haven't used the 110 all week and the Freebie had most of a tank from last weekend anyway. That will need filling tonight.

nope im afraid i dont feel stupid at all, qued for about ten mins for fuel filled right up to the brim just in case but i was in the red any way and the high prices would be nothing compared to not being able to work if it hadf all gone ahead as expected. self employed and days off dont mix :) :!:

Jake:
I did'nt need to fill at all
 :D

I thought it was you normally left it for Chris to do so he pays!!!
(least that's what he told me)

Now then time to leave the country 'til the shouting finishes

Living in a rural area I always make sure that I *never* go below 1/4 of a tank. This is for peace of mind in case I have to do the 30+ one way  miles to hospital if anything happened to a member of the family (on some nights there is only *one* ambulance to cover an area of roughly 70 square miles). To be honest I start to get uneasy once I get below 1/2 a tank.
