Mike, I've been watching yours evolve with interest, I was fully expecting to need to cut more out of the arches, but when the wheels / tyres arrived they had very little off-set and they actually go up inside the arches. I've tried it cross axled with a pair of ramps in opposite corners :D and it seems to clear OK. As for the front bumper, there seems to be plenty of room, it is actually a Scorpion winch bumper.
Disco Inferno:
cuts like these, i had to chop a serious amount out of my arches and doors
fitted 90 arches as the alternatives were expensive and easily breakable
i have the template for doing the choppinf if you're interested

Thanks, I am tempted by the Defender arches, I have a brand new set in the garage I intended to use for this purpose. If I do go this route I would really apreciate loan of the templates.
The only thing is the wheels don't stick out any further than the standard body, and I think the arches might look a bit silly.
On full articulation they do actually go up inside the arches without rubbing.
Another reason is there seems to be quiet a difference in size from one tyre manufacturer to another, mine seem smaller than other 33 x 12.50's I've used in the past.
I think the thing to do in the future would be to buy another set of wheels with more off-set. (Anyone know where to buy them from ?? )
Thanks again for the offer.

Got them on my truck (not a disco i know) & 265/75x16 tyres, ook good & you can rivet them as high or as low as you want.
John.
Disco Inferno:
i'm running on extra wide offset rims so the wheels were sticking out around 3", hence the arches
chose these rims for increases track width and to maintain the turning circle.
