back bumper
seph234:
thats the decision i need to make, i can put a new heavy duty back bumper on but then your still going to hit it or make something like yours disco inferno and lose about 4" of overhang, i see you have chopped the rear quarters down aswell. i was looking at an old landrover world the one with the three disco's running 35's and see the silver one had a custom rear winch bumper that tucked up all around the rear quarters and thats what started me off aswell as keep fixing my endcaps back on
Darren:
Pretty much any of the aftermarket designs will be less vulnerable than the standard end caps and both the Scorpion and Discoparst ones are tapered at the ends to reduce the overhang by as much as practical. To gain any more of any significance then you'd have to alter the rear cross member of the chassis as these bumpers bolt right up to it already.
seph234:
yeah thanks il probably go for the heavy duty back bumper coz if make a tubular one up i will have to mod the rear quarters and then its harder to put back to standard if need be, does anyone know how much the scorpion one's are compared to the discoparts one, why dont scorpion advertise their prices even on the web
Dangermouse:
If you need to ask how much you can't afford it maybe
seph234:
yeah your probably right , but it wouldnt hurt them to put some prices on things
