Plastic arch liner

gords:
How do you get the plastic arch liner off ... without breaking the clips that fix it on?

I need to replace my arial :?  :(

seph234:
the centres of the plastic rivit should pull out. joe

You don't write Haynes manuals by chance, do you

So, how do I actually get them out? Lever underneath the rivit head with a screwdriver? Underneath the plastic trim? I assume they don't screw out?

Thrasher:
Look closely and you will see there is a plastic "pin" in the centre - using some needle nosed pliers, simply pull out the pin and the plastic rivet will come out. Fitting is the reverse....

gords:
OMG

I finally managed to get the thing off .. only to find 4 inches (no kidding!) of mud/sand in the bit between the arch and door!!

Is there supposed to be some sort of drain hole / gap? Or are these liners a bad idea?
