radio unlocking

I have had the battery disconnected on my 1995 300tdi and when I reconnected it my son, trying to help, put the wrong code into the radio. The question is what do I have to do to unlock it? Do I have to remove the radio and have it unlocked?

yes just look in the yellow pages for a radio unlocker its usually about £10 to be done they put it on a computer and there package tells you your code.  joe

or have you got the correct code to be put in if you have just disconect it completley for a while and try again if its the same as a ford one it should just come up asking for a code again when reconnected

Sharpshooter:
Sometimes if you disconnect the power for long enough it will reset itself again. You only normally need to decode them, if you have lost the original code. Take it out, and try again in the morning. Assuming you do have the right code. :D
