LPG is still relativly rare by us. I only know of one place selling it within a couple of miles (out of 30-40 filling stations?) and they charge 44p a litre. I have been told of one about 15 miles away that is selling it for 28p.
It is also possable to use propane camping cylinders so refills come from the camping shops BUT you have the inconveniance of filling out all the forms for HC&E so you pay all the correct tax :wink:

and add to that the cost of having your injector pump rebuilt once the oil has completely gunged it up inside.

Actually, I prefer the ferry but the Tunnel is a very fast, easy, way to cross the Channel.
How available is LPG? Obviously, I don't look for it, but I can't say I've ever seen it for sale!? :-k

this may help in your search,they will send you a free map showing all the filling stations and service centres in the country.I've been using my map forover 8 months now as duck runs only on LPG.
by the way there were diesel mercedes sprinters running on lpg 5 years ago,the lpg kits came from either sweden on norway my memory is a bit vaige on the country of origine but it was from that area
