Can anyone help i need to know if a mid 80's axel off a range rover will fit on a 93 disco we think it has no anti roll bar fittings which i would have liked. Are there any differences.

Ought to be no problems as it's essentially the same item.

Wanderer:
Some RR axles had rear facing shock mounts. If the mounts are the right way then you might be OK.
The 1987 will be Ok a mate has one advertised on ebay off an 87 RR.

its a front axle so the mounts will be the same

Take a good look at the width of the radius arm mounts.  The Discovery had wider front radius arms than some of the other vehicles.
