Just, wondered whether or not you are able to fit any sort of upgraded air filter - to replace the oil bath one fitted to a standard 2 1/4 diesel  :?:

you can get a K&N filter for them, but the ultimate question has to be "why bother ?"  since the 2.25 diseasil isn't exactly a performance engine at the best of times I wouldn't have thought you'd notice the new filter...

Good call. Saying that i've got it up 70 before, it has got some kick for a diesel engine, does a K+N filter improve performance, engine running and fuel eco?

Maybe a air filter box from a 90 or 110 will make for quick easy & clean filter changes, plus easyer to seal up if fitting a snorkle  :?:
