I have found the clicky starter motor is usally crap in the solenoid, preventing a good electrical circuit.
Remove the solenoid from the stater motor and wash out with WD40 or contact cleaner.
You can put a test meter accross the power terminals and manuall operate the solenoid, you should see the resistance drop when terminals are clean.
Failing that, buy a new solenoid :lol: most auto electrical places should be able to get them, they're not very expensive.
BTW Milner off road, the jap car spares, dont deal with suzuki parts :(mad):

Yeah I knew about Milner anyway... Its a shame because they do quality parts for daihatsu's etc.
Yeah got a list going... gunna give him a ring. Bidded on a complete new starter for a tenner on ebay so all good there.
I'll let you all know how it goes.
