A/T's
beast5680:
Colways are a good buy IMHO good budget tyre if your not doing excessive mileage, got them on my 300 as it doesnt do loads of milage and they,re cheap compared with the BFG ones, they are supposed to wear quicker but i,ve not noticed and should you slash one on a lane its not another £90 you have to shell out
Jake:
I'd go with the BFG's or maybe a set or Goodyear Wrangler AT's
Pricey, but worth every penny.
:D
Bush Tucker Man:
I've had the (235/70) Colway A/T's on my Disco for over 25,000miles & they're a lot less than half-worn.
No complaints about handling, noise or traction. (Q rated as well; 100mph)
Punctured one on the sidewall & only £42.00 fitted & balanced.
I'd have them again without any doubt
Stripes:
i put colway a/t's on the old disco
no problems at all done 30.000miles worry free
put 6 inch nail in side of one two day's after getting them
but only 35.00 fitted
no worries
colintandy:
i use bfgoodrich allterrains on both the 90 defender and the disco at that price is very good for one they normally retail out at 90-100 each and ive seen them sell for 120at some places i would not compromise saftey with quality these tyres are allways first choice for me great offroading and excerlent road handling just make sure you run correct preasures on my disco i put 30psi up front and anyware between 32-34 at back depending on load carried and 30 psi all round on the defender never had any problems with either vehicles for long term millage these outperform most road going tyres and just from experience you can get to places that some guys cant reach using m/t if you know how to drive offroad properly that is also find that the bfg have a larger footprint than most i run 235/70/16 on disco and are superb grip and cornering .
go for bfg money well spent you wont be dissapointed regards colin
