John Peel
Not often you shead a tear for a strangers passing.
I never listened to his show but watched all his Glastonbury coverage.
I loved his passion for new and diverse music.
And man, could he moan (see a re-run of grumpy old men on BBC2)
but that was half his charm.
The day after he died on Radio 1 was hard listening. All they played was bands he'd found and the music he loved mixed with loads of clips of bands talking about him.
Very sad

Can't go without mentioning 'Fluff' Freeman and the late Tommy Vance as  well

i have been to see avril (wasnt that great) there was too many little avril wannabes around
i have been to see sum 41 and i thought that was the best :D

lets see, Garbage at nec, Nichol Creek leeds, All about Eve, brilliant at Beverly, and who else Jethro Tull York.

Metallica. Somewhere in California.
