Changed their policy then on price, thats good
I was up there for a cross member and it wasn't in for a couple of days, paid for it and they sent it out to me no charge
Always worth checking their website for the offers they throw out now and again

Just finished, as you said RRC, cut the "floor" sections off. Can't see how they would fit anyway because of the lip the door seal goes over. Not a bad job, some patching on the inners + some on the posts but all in all a job worth doing properly. Can now forget about that area after "Shutzing" it all tomorrow.--Cogs

Unfortunatley if the rot gets in from inside (wet carpets etc) then that rail is MIA when you start the repair, so I had to make a new one. Once I'd done the first side I decided it was best to cut that floor section off, then fold 1" of the off-cut up at 90deg and weld it back on to make the sill-top and lip in one peice, also a nice easy weld in the valley between the two folds. Because I was doing the inner and outer, plus rot in the floor I just cut the car off at the row of weld that holds the inner sill on, everything outward of that is in the bin now.
I've just finished the footwell on the second side but I've decided to put a new inner front arch in too, weather permitting but I'm taking the weekend off, all that welding's given me migrane.
PS, did your door drop whilst you were doing the A post?

Hmmm!!, I thought the gap was wider. Will check when the downpour stops.--Cogs
