Wheel carrier

(1/2) > >>

robbie:
Anyone know if a wheel carrier from a series vehicle will fit on the bonnet of a 90??

Bob696:
Mine fitted on a 110 but be aware that I did have problems due to the width of the tire being more than was expected for a series (I think thats the reason but it could have just been me bing thick). The wheel fitted but it was a bit of a struggle.

There may also be issues with the strength of the bonnet but as my bonnet was fairly knacked any way I put it on. I didnt see any further deteriation but you pays your money and takes your choice.

I think it is Blanchards that have the full kit for a 90 for sale priced at about £80  :!:

Andy the Landy:
I've got a spare rear door carrier if thats any use, just needs one of the studs re-threading - yours if you want it

Don't do it man.  I had a wheel on the bonnet in Sweden, i had to take it off to offroad.  You can't see owt, its like looking through a letterbox!  (And my tyres are 235 which is slimmer than most).

Nearside's invisible, slightest incline and your heads out of the window.

robbie:
hadnt thought of that, maybe nt a good idea after all....

Andy, we have a truck cab and it aint no good on a tailgat.... I am trying to get a hardtop for it though so might be after it if I do
