i did this to my v8and works well just make shore you put the intake from the pump up high   :shock:

Wurth chain lube oil works wonders on a V8. Just spray it around (while everything is dry. You don't want to seal damp in that's already there) the dizzy and leads.

I have NO shielding or anything like that on my V8 & gad it in very deep without missing a beat,(had water spraying out between the wings & bonnet & also up to the seats inside)

all i did was fit the coil in a asda ice cream tub with a snap lid,remove the leads & clean with thinners or brake cleaner then soak them in wd40,remove & clean the cap the same way till its spotless & put a bead around the bottom of sillycone grease & refit & away you go
