Front wipers.

My front wipers were getting very slow to operate and sometimes did'nt return to the normal park position when switched off.


I've had the whole unit out and cleaned all the linkage. Now they operate at normal speed but still sometimes don't return to the park position on the windscreen  :?:

Any ideas, new motor needed, the relay  :?:

Sounds like it could be the motor getting a bit tired. I might be wrong but the relay is just an on or off so they would not work at all.

Andy,

Flip the wiper blades off the screen (to remove the extra strain)
and opperate the wipers, this should give you a better idea if the
problem is the motor or the park relay.
