Timing

Just picked up a s/h Turner head (8:1 Stage 1) for a song.  Any suggestions as to what the timing should be set to? Or do I just experiment (again...).

From what I played with, the standard setting I use in tdc, then adjust from there depending on the symptoms, pinking/pre ignition, and performance

I have a turner head on my s3, I'll try to get a look at it and set the head up for a check on its setting today, if the rain holds off for you

You could try their website to see if there is any info sheets available on this for you
