Ford USA For 2005
Bush Tucker Man:
Has anybody else seen the gorgeous newly redesigned Mustang for next year.
This is a total homage to the '60's with a similar profile to the 'Pony-Car' that McQueen drove in 'Bullitt' ('69 GT390)
Only criticism is the windows between the 'B' & 'C' pillars, they don't suit it at all.
Expected starting price in the States -$20,000!!!
Bet we don't see it in the main dealers as the 'new Capri'
There's also a Cobra concept being shown, this is equally nice. Sadly probably not available with a monster 427ci V8

Then there's the Holden Monaro that Vauxhall might be bringing in as the new Calibra.
5.7 Corvette V8 & roughly the size of a Mondeo, even Clarkson loved it on 'Top Gear' a couple of weeks ago.
Sorry can't find it on the TG website

Moose:
I agree Rich, the Mustang looks superb.
I have not seen the inside, I hope it's as good as the outside, not the usual America love of hard tan plastic and fake wood
Bush Tucker Man:
No, Chris the inside looks good for a Yank. It was featured in this months(?) 'Top Gear' magazine.
Starts at $20,000 across the Pond (about £11,500!!!!), but that's for a V6 version.
Gotta have a V8!!
There's also a new Pontiac GTO in production (a 'Yankee-fied' Holden Monaro)
Bauer-Millett in Manchester are going to be importing them, so it seems. Some interior photos on their site.

Let me know what you think?
Like the look of the SSR pick-up on the 'New 4x4' page. I could go for that. Plus a couple of T-Birds :)
Bush Tucker Man:
Also look here Chris;

Moose:
Yes your right , the inside isn't half bad.
I see what you mean about the b/c pillar, but hey, it's still the best looking yank since the last proper pony car ( Cobra aside)
