Colway 4 X 4 M T

(1/1)

TUFFTEE:
Has anyone used these? What are they like on road and off? And would 235/70R16  Be Ok on my Disco? With a 2" Lift. or are they to small or too big?

                               Nev.........

driftwood:
i use these tyres at the moment with my 2" lift, http://members.mud-club.com/profiles/driftwood/vehicle/  but i have 205/80/16's so i dont know abou the size you want, i'm not that up to date on the technical side.

i havent realy hjad any problems with them, quite good realy, there is a bit of droning noise on tarmac though. only tried them on lane and not the more extreme stuff yet. i was told though they do wear down very pretty fast though.

i paid about 35 quid each corner, on the second trip out i got a pumcture on one, least it wasnt 100 quid a corner i had to replace.

J B:
they do wear very fast on the road, and are a bit noisey

if you have a 2 " lift then you can fit 235/85/16, but you will have to cut the back of your rear arches, and maybe the front bumper aswell

a good alternative size is 245/75/16

the best allround tyre ive come across is the Goodyear Wrangler MTR, thses are qiute on the road and great off it 8)

TUFFTEE:
Thankyou to "driftwood" And "Jon boy" for your convincing points! and i have decided not to go with Colway remoulds! plus a very good friend of mine who also has a Disco but works it and doesnt offroad it has offered me his General Xp 2000's  225/70/16  which are only about 2 months old with about 300 miles on them for virtually the same price so i can't go wrong!

lee celtic:
I've had 235/85/16's on for a while now they do make a bit of noise on the road and they do seem to wear quite quickly but the are cheap and look cool and are spot on off road. :D
