jackable side sills

Thinking of getting a set of jackable side sills for the disco.

I'm finding with the bigger tyres in certain possitions that they can catch on the plastic ones - my rear arches have been trimmed a little to cope but they are not catching on the sills themselves.

Can anyone tell me, if you've bough a set of jackable sills, are they any shorter than the original items, if so how much by and which ones?

Take a tape measure around Billing would be my advice.

Also, have a chat to Richard @ Mill Services... he has Discovery sills in production now... if you wanted a set an inch or so shorter, I'm sure he'd oblige.   He's a couple of stands along from us by the river.

Rebel 4x4 will make them to order too.
Give them the dimensions and they'll knock you up a pair

I think it was Rebel I tried to email but never got a reply - will try them again as they were quite cheap.

Some of the ones I've seen had a plate that covered the original sill - any ideas if rebels ones do this?  At £178 they aren't too bad either :-)
