Title: 300tdi handbrake adjustment

as above really anyone know how to adjust the handbrake on a 1995 300tdi ?

I think mr haynes says do it from the adjuster on the inside ?, but I'm sure i did mine from the screw adjuster just underneath the floor, not at the drum.

just done mine on a 98 disco

nut (bolt head) sticks out of the rear bottom of the brake back plate
either 17 or 19 mm socket  nip up back off and mine was ok
if you adjust the cable you need to remove the window switches next to the handbrake and haynes say you can adjust in there

pointless just adjustin the cable,always start with the drum first then do the cable if needed.

Can't find the adjuster on our 300 TDi backplate, the 'later' spec had a direct-entry cable and may not have the option for adjustment.
