Title: Cruise control
Post by: Frankie-Boy on April 07, 2012, 20:27:22

I've been trying to get the cruise control working on my P38, the light comes on in the switch on the fascia but pressing the "set" button on the steering wheel achieves nothing even though I'm doing over the 28 mph that the handbook suggests.

I've looked under the bonnet but there's so many pipes going in all directions I'm not sure where to look so could anyone give any pointers as to what I should be looking at and any pics of anything that might be relevant would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Hi mate the vac pipes have a habit of splitting under the bonnet on the near side by the bulk head where they go on to the unit

I've looked at the vac pipes, they seem ok but I'll replace them and see if that works.

Thanks Mike
