Does anyone know if cylinder head ETC5412 has hardened seats already installed for unleaded fuel?

I wouldn't worry about the unleaded unless you do a massive mileage.

I average about 20k a year, and have done for the last two years running on unleaded petrol and LPG (which is supposed to be worse) and haven't noticed any major problems with valve seat recession. Money I've saved on additives will more than cover the cost of an unleaded head when the need occurs.

However if it's a brand new head, I'd have it converted as it won't have any lead 'memory'. I heard people talk of conversion for around £150ish or you can get a more lively one from Turner or ACR for around £500. (I had a stage 2 head in a S3 109 at it would cruise happily at mid 70 and hit over 80 when needed. Much better for petrolheads like me who think diesel is the devils work).
