Not easy with a truck that s pushing 2Tons ,the Beemer lump pulls a 320d saloon ok but the Rangies a tad heavier  i have driven the Omega with same lump and that needs the big boot to stop you nodding off,,no i think a power /economy chip is the order of the day,

Got a psi powerbox on mine from Rimmer brothers, helps a lot with the performance and does about 25 mpg on short runs. it's plug and play fit yourself in a few minutes

Hello Roger,

Dynachip of Neston Cheshire travel country wide or have agents around the U.K. doing re-mapping, chip replacements etc. etc.
the guy that runs it is called Mike, he's very helpful and very knowledgeable.

Had a great trip to the Plains by the way,
thanks again for your help.

Ron, LLROC.

Hello Roger,

I've now fitted a "Steinbauer" system to my P38.
You can adjust where and when the power comes in to some degree,
it's not a rocketship but it does pull better.
check out "Steinbauer" on the internet.
cheers.
Ron.
