Is there not a dipstick in the engine compartment? as on ZG GC's?

Sealed box?  Not unheard of, most modern auto's are.

think it is  its a merc idea but they use a dipstick at the dealers when they refill them after any work done

Hi cooter your right got the grey cap off and that's all it is a cap and no dipstick
