hi guys ive got a 25td sport had a new clutch fitted last year so thats ok. when im sitting still in gear with clutch pedal pressed after a few seconds it starts to bite and pull off. is this a commen fault, im guessing its either the master cylinder or slave just not sure wich. and can you get these in kit repare or whole new units. thanx   jo

Put a large g clamp on the slave cylinder so that it can't move. Then depress the pedal. It should do rock hard and be difficult to push. If your foot slowly drops to the floor then you've a leak on the system.

If there is no fluid leaking anywhere, then my money would be on the return valves in the master cylinder causing the problems - bit of dirt blocking things?  Might be worth stripping the master cylinder and giving a good clean and seeing if that solves the problem.
