Title: buying a series as my first car

hey all, im new here,
but since i was a little kid ive always been interested in land rovers (mainly due to my dad)

and now im actually old enough to drive and have a licence

but being as my first land rover and first car, what year and model would you suggest?

im 18 and have a 72' series 3, insurance is high as hell so its best to go on your mum or dads policy as a named driver and them as a main.

on my own policy it would be

try a classic policy if you can get on one at 17 i think lightweight love only payed about 500 a year may be worth dropping him a pm

according to some companies you have to be over 25 to have a classic car policy, but my mate is 17 and has a 92' mini on a classic car policy and it costs him 700 a year, think i will try that one too =)
