Title: Ground Anchor
Post by: wizard on January 02, 2005, 14:43:05
This Wizardbilt Ground Anchor is similar to the Pul Pal in design. It is however slightly smaller to allow for easy storage and transportation.

The tubular frame is made from 50mm x 25mm x 3mm box section. It has a shackle point at the front to attach a winch cable to and another at the rear above the spade to assist in pulling the anchor out of the ground.

The spade section is 300mm x 350mm x10mm steel plate and has three locating positions depending on the terrain it is being used in.

A vertical position for sandy terrain, a horizontal position for use in rocky areas and a central position for general soft / boggy mud
