ideas for 4x4 type things in Scotland
« on: May 03, 2013, 07:11:32 »
In July i am holidaying in inverness. I will be going the long way round up the west coast across the north coast then down. Are there any sights or attractions i could include that are 4x4 or land rover related?

Cheers.

You are all doing it again, you're waiting on someone else to reply before daring to do so yourself. Come on you know you can do better.

I would have replied before now, but Ive not been on here for a over a week... trying to make money has taken priority...

If your going up the west coast, a worthwhile visit is Lix Toll garage, they usually have some interesting LR's parked in the yard... Theres a "forest drive" just outside aviemore, nothing dificult and not that long, depending on gates theres the old Military road, but the locals have a habit of locking the gate at the end so its a long trip just to have to do it again.. I think LRO or one of the comics did it last year at somepoint...
