3D Effects on photographs
« on: January 14, 2013, 22:49:11 »
I've just been playing with some 3D effects to try and add a bit extra to my videos and I've stumbled on this technique which seems quite nice. Whats do you think? Its a fair bit of effort to do but worth it?

It's seems fine. Guessing you basically layered a photo of the bushes / tree / whatever onto a transparent layer over the photo and then moved the two as necessary?

For that relatively simple technique, I think it's produced a good effect. Not mind blowing, but good. HTH

Yeah that's basically it. Just trying to breathe extra life into a flat photograph.

I have to say I'm not but I'm learning. I saw this with someone doing it on a landscape and wondered if I could apply it to some Landy pics!

Gonna try a few more now!

Well you're right IMO. Much better than a flat photo(s).

Keep it up and you'll only get better at it, more efficient time wise and play around with other effects like making water ripple etc. Just a little motion makes a world of difference!

Well done :afro:
