platting cats
« on: September 28, 2012, 05:52:13 »
2 years back a mate announced that for his fiftieth birthday would we all like to go to orkney to look at archaeology. We all said yes brilliant idea. I even priced up a mini bus over going in cars as there are ten of us. We then set too badgering a date out of everyone that we could all do. We now still don't know for certain other than next summer. Yesterday when I pick up the wife I'm told that all the likely dates fall in Ramadan and as one of her co workers observes we will not be able to do the full trip as she has to be back at work half way through. So what could have been a nice broken drive to  kirkwall is now going to be a serious all day non stop blast. Oh and instead of the whole trip being 200quid that will just cover the diesel not ferries and accommodation and such. But I can take the dog so all is not lost.
Lambert Coverdale.

As slow as possible, as fast as necessary.

Two and a half litres of turbocharged diesel goodness.
