Electric to Manual

Can the elecy windows on a disco be converted to a manual setup and is it easy to do once the door cards are off ??

Anything's possible, I guess it depends on how if at all the inner door frames differ between the two.

Some of the very early Discos had wind up windows. I would suspect that the door frame and widow lifting sissors are the same on both.

Why change, the electric set up is robust and reliable, and if you did have a problem spares are 10 a penny.

Thanks to All those for their help and comments, I did some research on Ebay, Craddocks, Paddocks etc for a new ish price of a winder even a local scrapyard wanted £20 to £25 for a lecy one so went to Furbers nr Whitchurch got a lecy one off a N reg along with a few other things that I needed, and he wanted only a tenner for it, so now home and just fitted it so Window goes down window goes up etc etc now for the front wiper motor overhaul. Spot lights all wired up now so nearly ready for my first off road adventure ...............!!!
